Host Position

We are currently seeking experienced, passionate, and service-focused HOSTS to join our team for the upcoming opening of our new restaurant and nightclub in NoHo.

The host offers guests memorable dining experiences by successfully greeting guests, managing reservations, organizing floor plans and table assignments, accommodating VIPs and overseeing special occasions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greeting and welcoming guests, anticipating, acknowledging and accommodating their needs.
• Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of assigned work areas
• Maintain complete knowledge of:
  • Table/seat/station numbers, proper table set ups, room capacity, hours of operation.
  • How to take, record and confirm restaurant seatings/reservations/cancellations using interactive reservation platform.
  • All Restaurant services/features and local attractions/activities to respond to guest inquiries accurately
  • Designated menu counts as well as inspect condition and cleanliness of menus and wine lists.
  • State liquor regulations, particularly those prohibiting service to minors, intoxicated persons, and drunk driving, and strictly abide by same
  • How to answer restaurant telephone courteously and efficiently
  • How to escort guests to tables, assist in seating at tables, present menus, communicate VIP arrivals and special requests to designated personnel for follow up
  • Maintain basic knowledge of all menu items, specials, 86'd items, liquor brands, beers, and non-alcoholic selections available in the Restaurant

Required Qualifications/Skills:

• 2-3 years of experience in front of house hospitality.
• Experience and/or good working knowledge of reservation systems.
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to stand on your feet for several hours.
• Open schedule availability/flexibility. (including weekends)
• Positive attitude, engaging etiquette, and exceptional interpersonal skills.
