A high-growth, YC-backed AI startup is seeking a Senior Full-Stack Engineer to help build

production-grade software systems in a fast-paced, in-person environment. Youll work directly with the

CTO and founding team, shaping the product and owning features across the stack. This role is ideal for

engineers with deep experience in lean, early-stage teams.

Compensation

• Base Salary: $130,000 $225,000
• Equity: 0.5% 0.40%

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain full-stack applications across the product lifecycle
• Lead and deliver features from architecture to deployment
• Collaborate with design and product teams to implement scalable solutions
• Contribute to frontend interfaces, backend systems, and infrastructure
• Debug and resolve performance and reliability issues
• Apply best practices in architecture, code quality, and scalability
• Ensure maintainable implementation of UI/UX

Must-have qualifications

• 5+ years of full-stack engineering experience
• Proficiency in React and either Python or Node.js
• Strong track record of independently shipping production features
• Experience in VC-backed or early-stage startups (Seed to Series B)
• Familiarity with Docker and cloud-native tools
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Willingness to work full-time onsite in NYC or relocate

Preferred qualifications

• Experience building features powered by LLMs or generative AI
• Experience with Kubernetes, GCP, and BigQuery
• Proficiency with relational and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB)
• Prior experience as an early engineer or founding team member
• Strong ability to iterate quickly in high-growth environments
