Position Title: Travel Registered Nurse – LTC House Supervisor

Location: Newark, NY 14513

Weekly Hours: 36 Hours

Schedule: Night Shift (Combination of 3x8-hour + 1x12-hour shifts; includes 11:00 PM–7:00 AM, 3:00 PM–11:00 PM, and 7:00 PM–7:00 AM)

Weekend Requirement: Every Other Weekend

Contract Duration: 13 Weeks

Position Overview

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) House Supervisor to oversee clinical operations within a long-term care setting. This leadership role involves supervising nursing staff, ensuring high-quality patient care, and supporting operational efficiency across a 180-bed facility during off-shifts.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate nursing care across multiple LTC units
• Act as a clinical resource and assist with complex patient care situations
• Manage patient flow, including admissions, discharges, and transfers
• Oversee staffing, scheduling, and productivity standards
• Respond to emergencies, including code situations and de-escalation
• Ensure compliance with infection control, safety, and regulatory standards
• Complete incident reports and support quality improvement initiatives
• Provide coaching, mentoring, and performance oversight for nursing staff

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or higher

Licensure & Certifications

• Active New York State RN License (Required at submission)
• BLS Certification (AHA) – Required

Experience & Requirements

• Prior experience in Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) or Long-Term Care (LTC) preferred
• Epic EMR experience required
• Ability to manage a large patient census (approximately 180 residents)
• First-time travelers welcome
• Must reside outside a 75-mile radius from the facility
• Flexibility to work rotating shifts and weekends
