Comcast NBCUniversal has announced its intent to create a new publicly traded company ('Versant') comprised of most of NBCUniversal's cable television networks, including USA Network, CNBC, MSNBC, Oxygen, E!, SYFY and Golf Channel along with complementary digital assets Fandango, Rotten Tomatoes, GolfNow, GolfPass, and SportsEngine. The well-capitalized company will have significant scale as a pure-play set of assets anchored by leading news, sports and entertainment content. The spin-off is expected to be completed during 2025.

Job Description

NBC News Digital is seeking a Senior Associate for our Commerce Partnerships team to help scale our growing Commerce business. In this role, you’ll serve as the key connector between NBC Select, Shop TODAY, and top-tier brands, retailers, and organizations, driving collaboration, execution, and strategic growth for the commerce business.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary liaison for commerce partners for the Shop TODAY Curated Box program and for Shop TODAY events
• Manage and deepen relationships with existing partners for the Shop TODAY Curated Box program while identifying opportunities for upsells and new initiatives.
• Oversee day-to-day execution of sponsored partnerships and high-profile event sponsorships, ensuring deliverables and timelines are met.
• Coordinate across internal teams, including Shop TODAY and NBC Select Editorial, Operations, and Commerce Studios to launch commerce sponsorships.
• Prepare marketing proposals, performance recaps, and post-campaign reports, including decks and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
• Support commerce leadership in developing new franchises and innovative programs.
• This role reports to the Head of Commerce Partnerships.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of merchandising or buying experience
• Minimum 3 years of affiliate or partnership management experience
• Minimum 3 year of business development experience

• Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, which currently requires contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week.
