Key Responsibilities of the RN - Med Surg / Telemetry
- Provide patient care utilizing MS/Tele skills
- Interpret and manage dysrhythmias effectively
- Engage with Rapid Response/Code teams as required
- Manage peripheral line care
- Administer oxygen via nasal cannula and oxygen tanks
- Employ non-invasive airway management strategies
- Follow isolation precautions and PPE guidelines
Requirements of the RN - Med Surg / Telemetry
- Holds a valid NY State License
- Certified in ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS
- Minimum of 1 year of recent related experience
- Comprehensive knowledge of charting systems
