Assistant Server

CHAMPERS SOCIAL CLUB is a restaurant, all-day cafe, and champagne bar in the heart of Soho.
Champers Social Club is looking for sharp, high-energy Server Assistants to join our floor team in SoHo. This is the role that keeps the room moving — you're the connective tissue between the kitchen, the bar, and the guest experience. Whether you're a seasoned hospitality professional or a driven newcomer ready to earn your stripes in a serious dining environment, we want people who take pride in their work, move with purpose, and show up for the team every shift.
What You'll Do:
Floor Operations & Flow
- Run food and beverages with precision, clear and reset tables seamlessly between courses, and maintain the cleanliness and rhythm of the dining room at all times.
- Keep FOH service stations fully stocked and organized throughout each service.
- Execute side work to our standards — polished glassware, set linen, sharp presentation.
Guest Interaction
- Greet tables with confidence, take initial water orders, and stay proactive about maintaining water levels on the floor.
- Drop dishes and drinks with a brief, polished description — you'll know what you're serving and how to talk about it.
- Field guest questions warmly and direct anything complex to the Senior Server or Server without missing a beat.
Opening, Closing & Reset
- Manage opening restaurant set up and morning checklists efficiently, prep for service as a core member of the opening team
- Execute dining room set up for service, standarize and maintain for key services with urgency
- Own the end-of-night breakdown as a core member of the closing team.
- Execute dining room sanitization and full reset with urgency and focus, meeting our standard 30-minute post-close exit.
- Complete all closing checklists efficiently — leaving the dining room better than you found it.
Presentation & Brand Standards
- Represent Champers on the floor the way it deserves to be represented: polished, put-together, and professional at all times.
- Adhere to our dress code standards.

- You move quickly and think on your feet — without rattling under pressure or losing your composure in front of guests.
- You're a team player, genuinely invested in supporting the people around you and in the guest experience as a whole.
- Prior hospitality experience is a plus, but not required — we will train the right person.
