Operations manager

Benetech, a leading regional benefits and HR management firm, is seeking a highly motivated Operations Specialist to join our team. This individual will play a key role in ensuring operational efficiency across projects, compliance initiatives, and vendor/consultant relationships. This is an onsite position.

Key Responsibilities

• Project Management - Lead and coordinate cross-functional initiatives, monitor timelines and deliverables, and ensure successful execution of strategic and client-focused projects.
• Compliance Oversight - Support organizational and client compliance with regulatory requirements, policies, and best practices. Maintain documentation and assist in preparing audits and reports.
• Vendor & Consultant Management - Serve as a primary liaison with external vendors and consultants. Track performance, negotiate agreements, and manage relationships to ensure quality service delivery.
• Business Applications - Develop a strong working knowledge of Benetech’s core business applications and technology platforms. Assist in process improvement, system enhancements, and staff training.
• Financial & Technology Insight - Apply financial acumen and IT understanding to support operational analysis, budgeting, and system integrations.
• Communications - Draft clear and professional communications for internal staff and external clients, including reports, project updates, and guidance materials.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, information systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Strong organizational and project management skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to understand and work with business applications and technology platforms.
• Solid understanding of finance and basic IT concepts.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience in vendor or consultant management preferred.
• Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

• Competitive salary offered between 60k & 80k.
