Travel Registered Nurse ER Job

Healthforce by TLC
Elizabethtown, NY
Embark on a dynamic journey as a Registered Nurse in the ER, delivering urgent, compassionate care where it matters most. In Elizabethtown, New York, you’ll join a fast paced emergency department that thrives on teamwork, critical thinking, and making a tangible difference for patients and families. Begin your assignment on March 2, 2026, with an initial span of several weeks and the potential to extend, explore a variety of shifts, and build a career profile that blends hands on expertise with leadership opportunities. Your daily impact will range from rapid triage and stabilization to precise documentation and patient education, all while collaborating with physicians, technicians, and support staff. This is more than a job—it’s a chance to sharpen your ER instincts, learn new protocols, and grow within a highly respected healthcare network that values your voice and your clinical judgment.

Location benefits: Elizabethtown offers a serene backdrop to a demanding profession, with access to Adirondack scenery, outdoor recreation, and a welcoming community that values resilient care teams. The region blends rural charm with practical conveniences, including local education, housing support through our program, and a safety net of resources for traveling clinicians. For those who love to explore, the broader Northeast presents a canvas of experiences—from hiking and boating to seasonal festivals and short trips to the Hudson Valley, Lake Champlain, or cultural hubs within a comfortable drive. The assignment may also open doors to additional locations across the United States, offering varied ED environments to broaden your clinical repertoire and professional network, while you maintain strong ties to a supportive team in upstate New York.

Role specifics and benefits: As an ER nurse, you’ll triage, assess, and stabilize patients with urgency, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, administer medications, monitor vital signs, perform procedures within scope, and document care in electronic health records with accuracy and sensitivity. You’ll educate patients and families, support discharge planning, and participate in quality improvement initiatives that elevate patient outcomes. This position prioritizes your professional growth—expect opportunities to refine ACLS/ENLS competencies, expand leadership skills, and mentor newer staff as you gain confidence. We offer competitive compensation with weekly pay in the range of $2,424 to $2,525, housing assistance, a retention bonus in eligible cycles, and the flexibility of contract extensions when you’re ready to grow your journey. You’ll also benefit from comprehensive support, including 24/7 assistance from our travel coordinators and clinical support teams while you’re on assignment, ensuring you have help whenever you need it and wherever you are. Please note: hours and pay rates listed are estimates and may vary. Final compensation packages and guaranteed hours will be confirmed during the hiring process.

Company values: Our organization is dedicated to empowering clinicians, promoting clear pathways for career advancement, and fostering a supportive, collaborative work culture. We invest in ongoing education, provide access to mentors, and champion clinician well being.
