Top-tier, multidisciplinary MEP consulting firm in New York City is expanding and seeking Electrical Engineers at all experience levels — from early-career designers to senior/project leadership. ️ Key Responsibilities
- Design electrical systems for building projects (power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, low voltage, emergency systems)
- Prepare construction documents, specifications, and calculations
- Coordinate with mechanical, plumbing, architectural, and structural teams
- Perform site visits and construction administration support
- Interface with clients, utilities, and authorities having jurisdiction
- Ensure designs meet NYC codes and industry standards
✅ Requirements
Junior Level:
- BS in Electrical Engineering or related field
- Internship or 0–3 years of MEP/building systems experience
- AutoCAD and/or Revit proficiency
Mid-Level:
- 4–8+ years of electrical building design experience
- Strong knowledge of NEC and NYC Electrical Code
- Experience producing full construction documents
Senior / Leadership:
- 10+ years of experience in MEP consulting
- PE license strongly preferred
- Project management and client-facing experience
- Ability to lead teams and mentor junior staff
