Company: Tradeweb Markets LLCLocation: 186 Hudson Street, Suite 2200, Jersey City, NJ 07311 Position Title: Support Team Lead Job Description:Serve as team lead to provide IT application support and analysis services in fast paced financial trading environment and to work as part of a global team to maintain a 22-hour trading system. Responsibilities include: effective management of a team to provide extremely high levels of availability for production, demonstration and test systems; develop system instrumentation and monitoring tools, resolution of any problems in these systems in a timely and professional manner; provide understanding of the system architecture, apply/suggest bug fixes, develop new tools for system monitoring and reporting, and work with the internal business to identify and resolve issues. Offer end-to-end understanding of a complex online bond trading platform. Position is fixed based in Jersey City, NJ office; however, telecommuting from a home office may be allowed.Job Requirements:Requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering or a directly related field plus four (4) years of object oriented development experience. Experience must include:Four (4) years of experience with each of the following (experience may be gained concurrently):- Experience supporting an existing large system to very high levels of availability.- Experience with scripting languages, including Perl- Demonstrated ability to work on an existing system as opposed to developing from scratch- Experience with dealing with internal customers on a regular basis Two (2) years of experience with each of the following (experience may be gained concurrently):- Building and implementing monitoring systems to ensure system availability- Automating various operations and reporting procedures- Relational database experienceOne (1) year of experience with each of the following (experience may be gained concurrently):- Understanding of FIX trading protocolDemonstrated flexibility regarding work schedule, including occasional weekend duties. 40 hours/week, 9:00am-5:00pm, Salary: $161,000 - $285,000/yearTo apply: Send resumes to [email protected].
