Job Description The Global Physical Security (GPS) Systems Operations Team leads the implementation and enhancement of Oracle’s physical security systems at hyperscale environments. We are seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager (TPM) – Application Delivery to manage technical delivery and feature enhancement of enterprise-scale access control and biometric systems. Reporting to the Global Director of Systems Operations, this role ensures robust, scalable, and customer-aligned deployments through collaborative planning, execution, and problem-solving. The TPM will be a key driver in ensuring that Oracle’s security systems at hyperscale sites keep pace with business and operational needs while supporting compliance and security best practices. Responsibilities Product & Program Ownership- Manage the technical implementation of access control and biometric solutions across global hyperscale sites, ensuring delivery aligns with customer requirements and strategic management direction.
- Coordinate multi-vendor systems implementations, prioritize rollouts, and track project milestones to achieve timely, high-quality deployments.
- Ensure robust project documentation, risk management, and post-implementation reviews for continual improvement.
- Manage feature enhancement projects, ensuring updates and integrations deliver measurable value and minimized disruption.
- Serve as the primary escalation point for deployment issues, partnering with engineering, vendors, and site teams to achieve rapid and sustainable resolutions.
- Act as the liaison between security operations, system vendors, end users, site managers, and executive stakeholders.
- Develop strong vendor management strategies, ensuring clear deliverables, consistent quality, and proactive support.
- Drive implementation of scalable and resilient access control and biometric applications and infrastructure, ensuring compliance with future site capacity and evolving operational requirements.
- Identify improvement opportunities by tracking performance metrics, system uptime, and user feedback, and lead implementation of critical enhancements to maximize system resilience.
- Engage with internal customers and management to gather requirements, provide updates, and ensure solutions meet business priorities.
- Monitor industry trends and partner with the GPS team to pilot innovative technologies and define future roadmaps.
- Ensure all systems implementations and changes are documented to meet audit, privacy, and compliance requirements.
- Support the preparation of audit documentation and response to security reviews.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Security, or a related technical field (or equivalent experience).
- 8+ years of experience in technical project or program management within physical security, access control, or biometrics—preferably in hyperscale or data center environments.
- Proven expertise in managing the implementation of enterprise-scale access control and biometric systems.
- Experience coordinating large-scale, multi-vendor technical projects.
- Advanced project management skills with a track record of delivering projects on time, within scope, and meeting stakeholder goals.
- Strong technical acumen with deep understanding of operational infrastructure and system reliability.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills with experience interfacing with technical and executive audiences.
- Strong vendor management, documentation, and process-improvement abilities.
- Ability to remain agile and responsive in a dynamic, fast-paced global environment.
- Professional certifications (PMP, CPP, PSP, or relevant technology-specific certs).
- Familiarity with security industry standards, compliance frameworks, and relevant regulations (GDPR, CCPA, ISO 27001, NIST, etc.).
- Hands-on experience with system integration, automation, or reporting tools.
- Exposure to cloud, data center, or large-scale enterprise environments.
US: Hiring Range in USD from: $82,500 to $199,500 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.
Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business. Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity. - Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
