Food Product Buyer

We are seeking a Category Buyer to join our dynamic team, to support our rapid growth in our Home Delivery Grocery Services. In this role, you will:
- Manage supplier relationships and negotiate contracts.
- Oversee procurement processes for assigned product categories.
- Analyze market trends and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Ensure timely delivery of high-quality goods to support operations.
- Collaborate closely with operations and logistics teams to meet business needs.
- Drive food cost improvements and accountability
This is a hands-on, full-time position based in Brooklyn, NY, requiring active involvement in purchasing and supplier negotiations to ensure Riviera’s continued excellence in food service.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Home Delivery Category Management and Purchasing.
- Strong skills in Supplier Negotiation and Contract Negotiation.
- Advanced Analytical Skills to evaluate market trends and optimize purchasing decisions.
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
- Relevant experience in procurement or the food service/hospitality industry is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain Management, or related field preferred.
