Production Coordinator (Social)
Join a creative production group focused on managing content for major social platforms. As the operational lead for official brand accounts, you’ll oversee backend workflows for published content, ensuring smooth execution across platforms for a global audience. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in structured, deadline-driven environments and is eager to grow in a tech-forward space where efficiency and productivity are emphasized.
Key Responsibilities:
- Finalize and schedule content at least one week in advance, ensuring alignment with strategic plans and stakeholder approvals.
- Coordinate production workflows including pre-production, production, and post-production.
- Input and maintain clean, timely content calendars using project management software.
- Collaborate with account leads and social media managers throughout the pitch and review process.
- Manage backend logistics such as contracts, licensing, releases, purchase orders, and payment processing.
- Track project estimates, expenses, and editorial timelines.
- Liaise with freelancers, editors, and animators to ensure timely delivery.
- Handle equipment inventory, rentals, shipping, and media archiving.
- Facilitate transcription and translation services as needed.
- Maintain operational accuracy and team resources.
- Support community operations and media workflows.
- Expected to take on direct publishing responsibilities eventually.
Team Collaboration & Coverage:
- Participate in standardized training across producers to ensure coverage and continuity.
- Responsibilities are consistent across producers but assigned based on individual experience (e.g., cultural moments vs. social trends).
- Support delegation across projects to maintain team flexibility.
Ideal Candidate:
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, with strong ownership of timelines and deliverables.
- Comfortable managing multiple stakeholders in fast-paced environments.
- 4+ years of production experience, ideally in social media.
- Proven ability to manage editorial content across formats (short-form, narrative, branded).
- Familiar with legal contracts, licensing, and vendor coordination.
- Skilled in publishing tools and project management software.
- Strong communicator and collaborator.
- Open to learning new tools and workflows in a tech-forward setting.
- Able to deliver high-quality content with limited resources.
Additional Context:
The environment values transparency, structure, and proactive communication. From current team members’ perspectives, it is highly organized and supportive. While tech may be new for some, the emphasis on efficiency makes it an ideal space for growth. There are also opportunities to collaborate with other teams, expanding exposure and development potential.
