Forward Deployed Engineer

Our client, a fast-growing HealthTech company, is hiring a Forward Deployed Engineer to join their team in New York. The successful candidate will play a key role in building the internal systems and tooling that will support the next phase of business growth, leveraging the latest AI and full-stack development technologies.

Responsibilities

• Partner with commercial and operational stakeholders to design and deliver intelligent systems that improve scalability across sales, marketing and business operations.

• Build AI-powered internal tools, automations and workflows to drive operational efficiency.

• Develop scalable platforms and systems to support business growth and commercial performance.

• Lead and support growth-focused experiments leveraging AI and LLM technologies.

• Deliver initiatives across SEO/AEO optimisation, web scraping and AI-generated content automation.

• Design and develop integrations between internal products, third-party platforms and core business systems.

• Take projects from concept through to production across a variety of technologies, tools and environments.

Skillset

• At least 3 years’ experience in software engineering and full-stack product development within production environments.

• Hands-on experience building and deploying AI/LLM-based solutions in real-world applications.

• Strong grasp of data flow architecture and scalable system design principles.

• Exposure to modern development stacks, including React, Python, Next.js, Sanity CMS and dbt.

• Understanding of B2B sales processes and familiarity with marketing and sales automation tools.

• Comfortable operating across multiple technologies, tools and problem domains.

• Ability to execute quickly and effectively in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment.

• Prior experience in early-stage or scaling startup environments is highly desirable.
