Travel Registered Nurse ICU Job

Overview
Registered Nurse – ICU travel assignment in Amsterdam, NY. Start date 07/06/2026 for 13 weeks. Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (1900-0730). Weekly pay range $1,836–$1,864. This short-term acute care setting requires ICU expertise with opportunities to float to Medical-Surgical units as needed. This is a travel/temp assignment with no guaranteed hours.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct, evidence-based ICU nursing care for critically ill adult patients
- Monitor hemodynamic status, ventilator support, medications, and monitor alarms
- Administer prescribed medications and therapies; titrate orders per protocol
- Perform ongoing patient assessments and document findings; communicate changes to the care team
- Respond to critical events, participate in rapid response and Code Blue situations
- Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and other disciplines; assist with stabilization and transfers

Requirements
- Active NY Registered Nurse license
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS required
- Minimum 2 years ICU experience
- Travel experience preferred; renewals welcomed
- Ability to float to Medical-Surgical units as needed
- Demonstrated ability to work in a high-acuity ICU environment
