Gurumé is a restaurant specializing in Korean tapas utilizing seasonal ingredients located on Restaurant Row in Hell's Kitchen. We are constantly expanding our vision of food and business. About the Job
As a Line Cook/Prep (Fry Station/Grill), you will be preparing and executing our constantly developing seasonal menu created by our chef. You will be able to experience a dynamic and evolving environment. You will also be responsible for keeping all refrigeration, storage, and working areas in clean and safe working conditions with compliance to Health Department Regulations.
We train from the ground up because we want to ensure the organizational culture we deeply value. If you have big ambitions for food and the Culinary Arts, we might be the restaurant you have been looking for!

Requirements:
- Minimum 1+ years line cook experience in a high volume kitchen
- Excellent knife skills and experience on hot and cold line
- Ability to visually inspect, select and only use food items of the highest quality in the preparation of all menu items
- Follow supervisor’s instructions, communicate with and supports co-workers, while being a team player
- Portrays a positive and professional attitude
- A motivated quick learner that works hard and is driven by the will to succeed
