Real Estate Associate Attorney (Mid-Level)
Pay: $260,000.00 - $310,000.00 per year

Location: New York, NY or Boston, MA. This is a full-time, on-site role based in one of the firm’s office locations.
Note: Must have law firm real estate experience handling acquisitions and dispositions, financings, and joint ventures. Must be admitted in New York or eligible to waive into the New York Bar.

Job Description
- Handle commercial real estate transactions from drafting through closing
- Work on acquisitions and dispositions across a variety of asset types
- Represent lenders and borrowers in construction and permanent financings
- Support equity joint venture investments, structuring, and entity formation
- Assist with portfolio transactions, REIT matters, and real estate fund-related work
- Draft, review, and negotiate purchase agreements, loan documents, joint venture agreements, leases, and related transaction documents
- Conduct due diligence and help manage transaction execution efficiently and accurately
- Work closely with partners, clients, and cross-functional deal teams on sophisticated real estate matters
- Take on increasing levels of responsibility as part of a collaborative, high-performing practice
Qualifications
- 3+ years of law firm real estate experience
- Strong experience with acquisitions and dispositions
- Strong experience with construction and permanent financings representing lenders and borrowers
- Experience with joint ventures
- Experience with portfolio transactions, REITs, and real estate funds is strongly preferred
- Experience with equity joint venture investments, structuring, and entity formation preferred
- Familiarity with major asset types such as residential, industrial, office, retail, hospitality, and land
- Strong communication, drafting, and interpersonal skills
- Strong academic credentials
- Admitted to the New York Bar or eligible to waive in
