Greater Giving, a business unit of Global Payments, is seeking a full-time senior software developer to work with one of our existing development teams.
We are primarily looking for a developer with seasoned experience writing C#, T-SQL, ASP.NET Core MVC Framework, and ASP.NET Web Forms. If you have experience working in a team setting, you’re fast-learning and self motivated, this role could be for you!
Our mission at Greater Giving is to create the best software for the payments processing and fundraising market. Software developers on our team are expected to be fast learners who will quickly grasp the inner workings of our enterprise software products and their integrations with other teams’ systems. Quality and consistency of code is very important on this team. Candidates must be eager to write clean, elegant code, adopt coding styles, practices, and patterns to match existing code bases.
What Part Will You Play?
Provides input to project plans by supplying accurate time estimates
Documents and demonstrates solutions using flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, & code comments
Performs analysis of current programs including performance, diagnosis and troubleshooting of problems
Updates job knowledge by studying modern development tools / techniques, and participates in educational opportunities
Participates in code reviews, freely giving and receiving constructive feedback
Follows established Agile development methodologies
Engages in escalated technical support as required
What Are We Looking For in This Role?
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree, or higher, in Computer Science, related field, or equivalent experience
5+ years of software engineering experience with advanced knowledge of C#, ASP.NET Web Forms, and ASP.NET Core MVC Framework
Experience with the following tools/technologies: .NET, LINQ, HTML, CSS, jQuery, Bootstrap, Web Services, Git, Azure, SQL Server
Solid understanding of relational database design concepts
Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills, proven ability in determining the root cause of problems and the base set of conditions for their occurrence
Must be comfortable working in a team environment as well as independently, and possess a sense of accountability and urgency in completing assignments
Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
Ability to mentor other developers
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working with and developing Payment Processing solutions

The above represents the expected salary range for this job requisition. Ultimately, in determining your pay, we'll consider your location, experience, and other job-related factors.
