As a Security Officer Patrol Licensure Role in East Syracuse, NY , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. In this role, you will support daily operations with integrity, teamwork, and a people-first approach while contributing to an agile, reliable, and innovative culture.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, facility concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting them through established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, production areas, shipping and receiving zones, parking areas, and perimeter access points, with working conditions that may vary by location.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials as required by site policies, and help to deter unauthorized entry, trespassing, and/or disruptions to daily operations.
• Support site operations by communicating with employees, visitors, and/or contractors, assisting with directions and policy questions, and reporting maintenance, hazard, and/or security-related issues to the appropriate contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid New York State Security Guard License is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer and/or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
