TravelNurseSource is working with Prime Staffing to find a qualified ICU/Critical Care RN in New York, New York, 10029!

Job Summary:
The ICU Registered Nurse is responsible for providing high-quality care to critically ill patients. This includes monitoring vital signs, administering medications, managing life-support equipment, and coordinating with the healthcare team to ensure the best possible outcomes for patients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care in the Intensive Care Unit.

• Monitor and assess patients’ conditions continuously.

• Administer medications and IV therapies as prescribed.

• Operate and manage ventilators, infusion pumps, and other critical care equipment.

• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals.

• Document all patient care activities accurately and promptly.

• Provide emotional support to patients and families.

Qualifications:

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.

• Minimum 2 year ICU or critical care experience.

• BLS and ACLS certifications required.

• Strong critical thinking and communication skills.
