Fellowship Coordinator-MSW-FT Days

Description

Provides administrative support, record keeping, and general coordination of Fellowship program materials and activities.

Responsibilities

1.Assists in coordination of the Addiction and Geropsychiatry Fellowship program.

2.Responds to requests for information regarding the Fellowship programs.

3.Maintains all fellowship records both past and present.

4.Provides administrative support by answering all telephone calls, answering machine messages promptly and courteously, record accurately all information about incoming consult requests, assist with routing consults to residents and fellows, record all information, maintain a consult log book, and maintain files of all consultation reports.

5.Maintains records for and assists in billing in an organized and timely manner.

6.Provides secretarial support by accurately typing all correspondence, maintaining CV's, assisting in billing (including maintaining financial records and following up on accounts receivable).

7.Accurately record and deposit all FPP monies.

8.Organizes patient charts and other materials as needed.

9.Provides research assistance to the Division by maintaining database program which includes entering data for studies and arranging for scanning of computer forms.

10.Assists in preparation of presentation slides and posters.

11.Serves as liaison between Fellowship Director(s) and fellows.

12.Organizes and distributes the fellow's rotation and education schedule

13.Schedules and cancels appointments.

14.Electronically and manually sends out patient statements to Medicare or other third party payors, etc.

15.Monitors/tracks and reconciles payments.

16.Follows up on outstanding insurance claims.

17.Completes copying and faxing of appropriate material and performs other clerical duties.

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • 1-2 years experience in a hospital environment, preferably as a Coordinator.

Compensation

The Mount Sinai Health System (MSHS) provides salary ranges that comply with the New York City Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $58661 - $66664.2 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, education, and operational need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
