We're hiring! Sentinel of Mohegan Lake is seeking a full-time Medication Aide to join our team. We are an assisted living community dedicated to providing compassionate, high-quality care to our residents. Position Overview
The Medication Aide is responsible for administering medications as prescribed and supporting the overall health, safety, and well-being of our residents.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer prescribed medications accurately and in accordance with physician orders
- Maintain proper documentation and medication records
- Monitor and manage medication inventory
- Coordinate with pharmacies to ensure timely and accurate medication delivery
- Observe residents for any changes and report concerns to the appropriate staff
- Collaborate with team members to maintain a clean, safe, and supportive environment
- Follow all facility policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Medication administration experience preferred (but not required)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Compassionate, xrczosw patient-focused approach
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Excellent communication skills
