General Ledger Staff Accountant
:
Monday - Friday 8a-4p
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Maintaining financial reports, records, and general ledger accounts.
- Preparing journal entries, analyses, and account reconciliations
- Completing end of month close procedures
- Performing monthly balance sheet reconciliations, including bank reconciliations, outstanding debts and intercompany accounts
- Assisting with monitoring monthly assets and depreciation
- Collaborating with internal departments to gather, analyze, and interpret relevant financial information
- Meeting deadlines for processing and reporting.
- Assisting with monthly financial statements and financial reporting
- Organizing and updating financial records
- Contributing to the development and review of annual operating budgets and performance projections
- Responding to information requests, reviewing financial statements, and assisting with audits, annual 990 and CFR
- Assisting the controller as needed
Position Requirements and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance preferred
- 3+ years of accounting experience.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Working knowledge of GAAP.
- Strong numeracy and analytical skills.
- Intermediate Excel and Word knowledge (advanced Excel preferred)
- Good problem-solving and time management skills.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $55,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
