Radiology Assistant
Position Title: RAD Tech
Location: White Plains, NY
Shift: Day Shift 5 days a week (8-4:30pm- with some flexibility)
Contract duration: 4 weeks

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Radiology Assistant to join our healthcare team. In this vital role, you will support radiologists and medical staff by assisting with patient preparation, ensuring smooth imaging procedures, and maintaining high standards of patient care. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a commitment to patient safety, and relevant experience in healthcare settings.
Duties
- Assist patients in preparing for radiological procedures by explaining the process and addressing concerns to ensure comfort and cooperation.
- Support radiology staff during imaging sessions by positioning patients accurately and handling equipment with care.
- Maintain patient safety protocols, including infection control practices and proper use of protective gear.
- Collect and document patient information accurately, including medical history relevant to imaging procedures.

Requirements
- Min 2 years of Rad Tech experience required
- ARRT, BLS Certification, COVID Vaccine Required
