In-Room Dining Server

The AM In-Room Dining Server at The Manner delivers a refined, personalized dining experience within the privacy of our guests’ rooms and throughout designated hotel guest areas. This role requires polished service, attention to detail, discretion, and a genuine passion for hospitality.

• Answer the In-Room Dining phone promptly and courteously; accurately take and process guest food and beverage orders.
• Demonstrate thorough knowledge of the menu, ingredients, preparation methods, and available food and beverage offerings.
• Follow all procedures for handling food allergies, dietary restrictions, and special requests with care and precision.
• Offer thoughtful recommendations and anticipate guest needs to provide personalized service.
• Coordinate closely with culinary and service teams to ensure accurate, timely, and seamless order delivery.
• Prepare, present, and deliver food, beverages, amenities, and other guest requests according to The Manner’s service standards.
• Greet guests warmly and professionally while maintaining discretion and respect for guest privacy.
• Ensure proper table setup, presentation, billing, and payment procedures for all orders.
• Respond promptly to guest questions, requests, and concerns and take appropriate action to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Retrieve trays, equipment, and in-room dining items from guest floors in a timely and discreet manner.
• Maintain clean, organized, and fully stocked service areas, carts, equipment, tableware, and in-room dining supplies.
• Complete all assigned opening, closing, and side-work duties according to departmental standards.
• Set up and maintain the complimentary tea, coffee, and pastry breakfast in the apartment area.
• Set up and maintain the mid-day snack and aperitivo offerings in the apartment area.
• Provide attentive, polished service to guests in the apartment area according to established standards.
• Attend daily pre-shift meetings and monthly departmental meetings.
• Adhere to all food safety, sanitation, health, safety, and service standards.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by Management.

• At least 2 years of experience in a luxury hotel, fine dining restaurant, or high-end food and beverage environment preferred.
• Strong knowledge of food and beverage service, including wine, spirits, and service etiquette.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Positive, engaging, and professional personality with strong interpersonal skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to delivering consistent, high-quality service.
• Ability to anticipate guest needs and provide intuitive, personalized service.
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to remain composed and professional under pressure while working with guests, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
• Demonstrated discretion and sensitivity to cultural differences and guest preferences.
• Ability to maintain a clean, polished, and professional appearance in accordance with company standards.
• Multilingual skills are a plus.
• TIPS certification are a plus.

• Must have a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, with required availability for morning shifts.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to bend, lift, carry, push, and pull equipment and supplies, including service carts and trays.
• Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to safely maneuver service carts throughout guest areas and hotel corridors.
