ABOUT THE ROLE:

The Server delivers exceptional hospitality by providing attentive, personalized service and creating memorable dining experiences. This role requires strong menu knowledge, professionalism, and attention to detail while ensuring seamless service and guest satisfaction.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Provide attentive service while guiding guests through menu selections, daily features, wine, and beverage pairings.
• Accurately take and enter orders, including dietary restrictions, allergies, and special requests.
• Serve food and beverages according to fine dining standards and proper sequence of service.
• Anticipate guest needs and resolve questions or concerns promptly and professionally.
• Maintain knowledge of menu offerings, ingredients, preparation methods, and beverage pairings.
• Collaborate with culinary, bar, and support teams to ensure accurate, timely service.
• Process guest payments accurately and maintain professionalism throughout the dining experience.
• Maintain clean, organized dining areas, service stations, and table settings.
• Complete opening, closing, and side-work duties.
• Uphold the restaurant's standards for hospitality, cleanliness, and guest satisfaction.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 1–2 years of serving experience in an upscale or fine dining restaurant preferred.
• Knowledge of fine dining service standards, food, wine, and beverage pairings.
• Excellent communication, guest service, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask and remain organized in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to exceptional service.
• Professional appearance and polished demeanor.
• Restaurant experience required; fine dining experience preferred.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds, including trays, plates, glassware, and service supplies.
• Frequent bending, reaching, stooping, twisting, kneeling, and repetitive motions while serving guests and completing side work.
• Ability to safely carry trays and move efficiently through busy dining areas.
• Ability to communicate effectively in a fast-paced environment with moderate to high noise levels.
• Ability to work around kitchen heat, hot plates, cleaning products, and varying temperatures.
• Must be able to perform the essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation.
