Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Step Down Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours (19:00 - 07:00) Experience: Minimum of 2 years preferred License: State nursing license required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS Must-Have: Previous Charge Experience preferred Charting System Experience required Experience with Allscripts charting system preferred Travel Experience preferred Description: The role involves caring for patients in a critical care stepdown environment. The nurse will manage various patient diagnoses, including respiratory failure and congestive heart failure. Interdisciplinary support from physical therapy, respiratory services, and social services is available. The nurse will perform procedures such as blood product administration and interpretation of arterial blood gases. Responsibilities include starting and maintaining IVs, managing cardiac drips, and performing neurovascular checks. Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential for effective patient care. Regular monitoring of vital signs and adherence to isolation precautions is required. Candidates should have experience with managing a patient load effectively during the night shift. Emergency response and procedural sedation administration and monitoring may be part of the duties. About Cynet Health
