Role Overview

Dentsu is seeking an Associate, Commerce & Retail Media . This role supports the day‑to‑day execution of retail media programs, including campaign activation support, reporting, and operational coordination.

The Associate works closely with Senior Associates, Managers, and Directors and is designed as an entry‑level role with a clear progression path within commerce and retail media.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the execution of retail media campaigns across Dollar General media programs, including campaign setup assistance, QA, and pacing checks.
• Assist with weekly and monthly reporting, including data pulls, basic analysis, and presentation updates.
• Monitor campaign performance and escalate delivery or pacing concerns to senior team members.
• Support internal and client meetings through note‑taking, action item tracking, and follow‑ups.
• Coordinate with Activation, Analytics, Finance, and Operations teams to support seamless delivery.
• Assist with budget tracking, campaign actualization, and billing support activities.
• Maintain campaign documentation, trackers, and reporting templates in line with dentsu standards.
• Build foundational knowledge of retail media platforms, ad products, and measurement approaches.

Required Qualifications

• 0–2 years of experience in media, advertising, marketing, analytics, or a related field (internships included).
• Strong attention to detail and comfort working with data and reporting outputs.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint (or Google equivalents).
• Interest in commerce, retail media, and performance marketing.

Preferred Qualifications

• Exposure to digital media or retail media environments.
• Experience supporting campaign execution or reporting workflows.
• Comfort working in cross‑functional teams.

Additional Information:

The annual salary range for this position is $45,000-55,000. Placement within the salary range is based on a variety of factors, including relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and other factors permitted by law.
