To save wear and tear on the body, you will have the most modern and efficient tools and equipment. Including a Unilyft, Tiltroator, mini excavator’s, full size and mini skidsteer’s, power buggy’s, dust free cutting, vacuum lifting equipment and more. Daily Responsibilities:

The hardscape construction foreman is responsible for leading themselves and 1-2 crew members with equipment operation in order to ensure that all assigned projects are well executed and efficiently run. Typical projects include complete outdoor living spaces, segmental retaining walls, paver patios, natural stone patios, fire features, outdoors kitchens and some construction work.

May involve some landscape planting, grading, and lawn installation. Required to follow standard horticultural procedures.

The foreman reports directly to the manager of hardscape work with any concerns/issues.

This is a physical job that requires moving, walking, kneeling, and operating machinery. We work in all types of weather conditions and exposure to the elements.

We provide work in the winter off-season in order to offer all year work. Hours are more flexible and the work is less rigorous in the winter as we switch to indoor renovation style work.

Requirements:

Current and valid NYS driver’s license

competence driving commercial truck with trailer

1-2 years’ experience in leadership role

3-4 years minimum hardscape experience. Duties to include building outdoor kitchens, fireplaces, fire features, patios, retaining walls, pool coping, walkways, driveways, etc.

Masonry skills required

Ability to lift 50 pounds or more

NCMA and ICPI certification (preferred)

current NY DOT medical card required prior to start date (Paid by Lattimer)

Class A CDL (preferred)

Experience in a leadership role

Expectations:

Ability to work 40-55 hours per week from March/April to December

Able to work approximately 15-40 hours per week from January-February/March

Expertise in operating ALL landscape/hardscape equipment both powered and non-powered

Expertise in segmental retaining walls, paver patios, natural stonework, excavation, carpentry/construction

Time management and problem-solving skills

Reliability and timeliness

Ability to provide clear/written and verbal instructions
