Our client, a prestigious AmLaw 100 national law firm , is seeking a talented Associate Attorney to join its established Real Estate Finance Practice Group . This is an outstanding opportunity to become part of a highly regarded national finance team with experience handling real estate finance transactions across all 50 states. The practice offers exposure to complex structured real estate finance matters, construction lending, preferred equity investments, and distressed commercial real estate transactions. Attorneys benefit from direct client interaction, meaningful responsibility, and close collaboration with experienced partners in a collegial and entrepreneurial environment.
Candidate Profile
- JD from a top-tier law school with an excellent academic record
- Active Bar Admission in relevant jurisdiction, in good standing
- 2-5 years of substantive experience in real estate finance transactions
- Extensive experience with a wide range of debt, debt-like, and equity transactions secured by or invested in real estate projects
- Particular experience with construction financing and multi-tiered capital transactions
- Experience representing lenders, capital providers, borrowers, or a combination thereof
- Excellent attention to detail, sound business judgment, and strong interpersonal skills
- Exceptional legal research, drafting, analytical, and organizational skills
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple deadlines and work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment
- Commitment to superior client service, with interest in direct client contact and business development opportunities
Key Responsibilities
- Represent lenders, capital providers, and borrowers i n complex real estate finance transactions
- Structure, negotiate, and document construction loans, mortgage financings, preferred equity investments, and other real estate-related financing arrangements
- Advise clients on sophisticated debt, debt-like, and equity investment structures i nvolving commercial real estate assets
- Handle multi-tiered capital transactions and structured real estate finance matters
- Assist with distressed commercial real estate transactions and related financing matters
- Collaborate closely with partners and clients throughout all phases of transactions
- Maintain significant client contact while managing multiple matters in a fast-paced practice environment

Compensation & Benefits
- Competitive Salary: Expected annual salary range of $205,000 – $275,000 , commensurate with experience and market conditions
- Eligibility for the firm's profit-sharing bonus program
