Landscape Market Manager

This remote position offers the opportunity to work independently, manage a variety of projects, and make a direct impact on customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate is a proactive leader with strong communication skills and a deep understanding of landscaping and snow removal operations.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee service delivery at local customer sites within the assigned market to ensure all work meets scope and quality standards.
• Hire, coordinate, and supervise subcontractors or self-perform crews for landscaping and snow removal projects.
• Conduct regular site inspections and provide quality control feedback.
• Prepare estimates for new and existing projects as needed.
• Maintain accurate records using internal trackers and work order systems.
• Communicate effectively with customers, crews, and internal teams to address issues and ensure satisfaction.
• Adapt quickly to changing conditions and resolve operational challenges as they arise.
• Travel regularly within the market area (approximately 80% field work, 20% remote/home-based), with occasional overnight stays as required.
• Stay informed of and comply with local and state laws and regulations relevant to landscaping and snow removal operations.
• Support other markets with occasional travel outside the home territory as needed.

Qualifications

• Residence in Western New York is required.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in the landscaping and snow removal industry.
• Strong communication and customer management skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office programs.
• Solid knowledge of plants, landscape operations, and snow removal practices.
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines in a remote environment.
• Familiarity with local and state regulations related to landscaping and snow removal.
