About the PracticeThe Corporate Restructuring group in New York handles a wide range of complex in-court and out-of-court restructurings for distressed companies and stakeholders. The practice focuses on liability management transactions, creditor and lender-side representations, and company-side restructuring matters across a variety of industries.
Attorneys in the group work on high-stakes transactions involving distressed capital structures, bankruptcy-adjacent matters, and negotiated restructurings for sophisticated clients.
Who We’re Looking ForWe are seeking an associate attorney with approximately 5–8 years of experience in corporate restructuring and distressed transactions.
The ideal candidate will have experience with:
- In-court and out-of-court restructurings
- Company-side and creditor-side representations
- Liability management transactions
- Distressed financings and complex capital structure solutions
Candidates should have strong academic credentials, significant experience in a peer firm restructuring practice, and the ability to manage sophisticated matters in a fast-paced, client-driven environment. Admission to the New York Bar is required.
CompensationThe expected base salary range for this position is $365,000 to $435,000 annually , with final compensation determined based on experience and other job-related factors in accordance with applicable law. This role may also be eligible for a discretionary year-end bonus.
