Document Production / Digital Imaging Specialist

We are seeking a high-energy, detail-oriented Document Production & Digital Imaging Specialist to join a prestigious Midtown law firm. This role is critical to the firm's daily operations, managing high-volume litigation copy print jobs, complex document finishing, and large-scale digital imaging projects. If you have a background in commercial print production, heavy-duty reprographics, and high-speed scanning, this is the perfect opportunity for you.

Pay Rate: $25.00 per hour

Schedule: Monday – Friday | 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM

Contract Duration: ASAP – 3-month contract (with possibility of permanent conversion)

What We Seek

• Heavy Print/Reprographics Experience: Proven experience operating production-level print shop equipment (e.g., Ricoh, Xerox, Canon) and finishing machinery.

• Technical Aptitude: Familiarity with print-queue management software, high-speed imaging systems, and document indexing software.

• Precision & Stamina: An "eagle eye" for detail with the ability to handle repetitive, high-volume physical print and prep tasks in a fast-paced environment. You understand that a missing page in the legal world is a major risk.

• Corporate Professionalism: Ability to work efficiently in a high-stakes, deadline-driven corporate environment with a polished and professional demeanor.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Heavy Print Production & Reprographics: Operate high-volume, commercial-grade digital print servers and multi-function printers (MFPs) to execute complex litigation copy and print jobs.

• High-Volume Imaging & Scanning: Run professional-grade, high-speed production scanners to digitize massive legal files, ensuring 100% page-for-page accuracy and clarity.

• Advanced Finishing & Binding: Perform precision document finishing, including heavy-duty stapling, GBC/Coil/Velo binding, cutting, folding, and creating custom tabs/dividers for legal binders and trial exhibits.

• Document Prep & Post-Processing: Carefully disassemble complex legal bindings (clips, staples, rivets) for scanning, and meticulously reassemble/re-bind files back to their exact original physical state.

• Quality Control (QC): Conduct rigorous quality checks on both printed outputs and digital images for alignment, clarity, color accuracy, and completeness against the physical originals.

• Indexing & Metadata: Utilize legal document management software to name, file, and index digital records according to strict firm nomenclature and organizational standards.
