Engineering Technician, New Product Introduction, Energy
The New Product Introduction (NPI) Technician will report to the NPI Supervisor and will be responsible for performing NPI Builds, line trials and maintaining the NPI area. This person is expected to be able to execute against provided manufacturing instructions (if available), validate their own work, check the quality of previous operations, mentor production associates, lead builds in defined area, and meet schedules. The NPI Technician is expected to be able to provide feedback, define standard work, and suggest process improvements. Experience with hand tools and use of semi-automated manufacturing equipment is necessary. What You'll Do Perform complex and precise electro-mechanical assembly work and be able to work independently once a task is assigned, make connections with other employees, works fluidly with the team to achieve great resultsTypically involves a variety of operations, including troubleshooting and rework, requiring a sufficient understanding of the functional operation of the items assembled as well as the finished productMust be able to work from complex and detailed manufacturing documentation, drawings, and/or verbal and written instructions and specialized fixtures/test equipmentHave a quick and flexible approach to problem solving, task juggling, and collaborationResponsible for quality activities, including self-inspection, and inspectionBe comfortable working on multiple projects simultaneously, interacting with multiple teamsUpdates production records and test results, records process improvements, and manufacturability suggestions What You'll Bring Basic understanding of electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical systemsAbility to read and understand manufacturing instructions and mechanical drawings with basic understanding of electrical systemsMust have a high level of craftsmanship and attention to detail married with the ability to work quicklyBasic machine shop skills desired --- welding skills a PLUSMust have command of the English language, both written and verbalMust be reliable, have good initiative, committed, and quality focused and have the ability to manage his/her time to juggle multiple tasks and to prioritize tasks Benefits

Engineering Technician I - $27.45 - $30.60/hourEngineering Technician II - $31.63 - $34.97/hourEngineering Technician III - $34.73 - $40.36/hour + cash and stock awards + benefits for all levels Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
