Position: Full-time
Pay: $22-24/hour based on experience
Schedule: Daytime hours Sunday-Saturday
Start Date : Grand Opening slated for June/July 2026

About The Willow - Café & Market

The Willow is built around fresh, seasonal food, thoughtful sourcing, and a strong connection to our local community. Our kitchen focuses on simple food done exceptionally well — made from scratch, consistent, and beautifully executed.

We’re building a small, collaborative team and are looking for an experienced, full-time cook to help run day-to-day kitchen operations and set the tone for quality, organization, and teamwork from the start.

Position Overview

This position is for someone who can confidently execute provided recipes and support smooth daily operations. You’ll work closely with the owner and prep team to ensure the kitchen is set for the day.

The right person is able to work independently and is calm, organized, reliable, and takes real pride in their work. We’re looking for someone who can step in with confidence and help create a positive kitchen environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute menu items to recipe and quality standards
• Oversee station setup and service flow
• Maintain a clean, organized, food-safe kitchen
• Assist with inventory tracking and receiving deliveries
• Ensure consistency in quality, portioning, and presentation
• Communicate clearly with front-of-house and ownership
• Set a professional, respectful tone in the kitchen

Qualifications

• Strong prior experience
• Ability to run a smooth, organized service
• Experience with scratch cooking and prep systems
• Reliable, punctual, and highly organized
• Comfortable working in a small, team-focused environment
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift 40+ lbs
• Weekend availability required
• Food safety knowledge required
