Internal Communications Specialist
We are seeking a talented and strategic Internal Communications Specialist to join our team. This role will be responsible for developing, executing, and managing internal communication strategies that foster employee engagement, support organizational objectives, and enhance company culture. The ideal candidate will be an exceptional communicator with a strong background in corporate communications, content creation, and change management.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement comprehensive internal communication plans aligned with company goals and initiatives.
Create, edit, and distribute engaging content for internal channels, including intranet, newsletters, email campaigns, and executive messages.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent and timely communication of organizational updates, policies, and programs.
Support leadership in communicating key business initiatives, change management efforts, and crisis communications.
Measure the effectiveness of internal communications and use analytics to propose improvements.
Maintain the company's internal brand voice and ensure all communications are clear, concise, and aligned with corporate values.
Organize and manage virtual and in-person employee events, town halls, and meetings.
Act as a liaison between leadership and employees, gathering feedback and addressing communication gaps.
Stay current with industry best practices, tools, and trends in internal communications.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in internal communications, corporate communications, or a related discipline.
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
Strong project management and organizational abilities.
Proficiency with digital communication tools and platforms (e.g., Microsoft 365, Slack, SharePoint, intranets).
Experience creating content in various formats (written, visual, multimedia).
Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
Analytical skills to evaluate communication effectiveness and propose data-driven improvements.
Compensation and Benefits
Hourly Pay Rate: $28 - $45 per hour (depending on experience)
