Terzo Group is an independent hospitality company operating a growing portfolio of community-driven food, beverage, and events concepts throughout New York City.

Our businesses include The Greats of Craft, Bar Enzo, private events and catering operations, and several new concepts currently under development. We believe great hospitality can create meaningful connections and vibrant neighborhood gathering places from morning coffee to late-night cocktails.

As we continue to grow, we are seeking an Operations Manager to help lead operational excellence across multiple locations and concepts.

Position Summary

The Operations Manager is a hands-on hospitality leader responsible for supporting operational performance, team development, guest experience, and financial success across Terzo Group's portfolio of businesses.

This role reports directly to the Director of Operations and works closely with General Managers, ownership, culinary leadership, events, marketing, and administrative teams. The ideal candidate thrives in fast-paced environments, enjoys solving problems, building teams, and improving systems, and brings an ownership mentality to everything they do.

This is not a desk job. The Operations Manager will spend significant time in the field, working alongside teams and leaders to ensure our businesses operate efficiently, consistently, and at a high level of hospitality.

Key Responsibilities

Operations & Hospitality
• Support day-to-day operations across one or multiple locations and concepts, depending on the needs of the business.
• Ensure exceptional guest experiences through consistent execution of hospitality standards.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, organization, safety, and facility maintenance.
• Monitor operational performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Assist with new store openings, concept launches, and special projects.
• Ensure compliance with all health department, labor, safety, and company standards.

Leadership & Team Development
• Coach, mentor, and develop hourly team members.
• Support recruiting, interviewing, hiring, onboarding, and training efforts.
• Assist in creating a culture of accountability, hospitality, and continuous improvement.
• Conduct performance conversations and participate in disciplinary processes when necessary.
• Help build leadership pipelines and internal promotion opportunities.

Financial Performance
• Support labor management, scheduling, and productivity initiatives.
• Monitor sales trends, payroll performance, and controllable expenses.
• Assist with inventory controls, purchasing systems, and cost management.
• Review operational reporting and partner with leadership to improve profitability.
• Help drive revenue growth through operational excellence and guest satisfaction.

Cross-Functional Collaboration
• Partner with Events, Marketing, Culinary, and Administrative teams to ensure successful execution of company initiatives.
• Support private events, activations, programming, and community-focused experiences.
• Assist with implementation of company-wide systems, SOPs, and training programs.
• Act as a key liaison between field operations and company leadership.

Special Projects
• Participate in new concept development, openings, renovations, and operational rollouts.
• Assist with vendor management, facilities projects, and process improvement initiatives.
• Support strategic growth efforts as Terzo Group expands.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of management experience in hospitality, restaurants, bars, cafes, or events.
  • Strong understanding of restaurant financials, labor management, and operational systems.
  • Proven ability to lead teams and build positive workplace cultures.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as business needs require.
  • Comfortable working across multiple locations and changing priorities.
  • Spanish language proficiency is a plus.
