Position Overview

Position: Network Director
Department: Family Child Care Network (FCCN)
Reports to: Executive Leadership Team
Hours: Full Time
Location: On Site - Queens, NY

Position Summary:

The Network Director oversees the operations and implementation of FCCN programs and services. This role supports compliance, provider recruitment, enrollment, staff supervision, family engagement, operational systems, and network growth initiatives while ensuring high quality services across affiliated providers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee FCCN operations, compliance, and program implementation
  • Ensure compliance with DOE, CACFP, licensing, and New York State regulations
  • Lead provider recruitment, onboarding, retention, and support initiatives
  • Supervise staff and support professional development efforts
  • Oversee audits, reporting, monitoring visits, and compliance documentation
  • Support family enrollment, engagement, and provider-family relationships
  • Build partnerships with providers, families, and community organizations
  • Collaborate with leadership on strategic planning and program growth
  • Participate in DOE meetings, trainings, and site visits as required
  • Provide ongoing technical assistance and support to affiliated providers

Qualifications:

  • Master’s Degree in Social Work (MSW) or Education (MSEd) with concentration in Early Childhood Education
  • Relevant experience working in Family Child Care and/or Infant/Toddler programs
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Knowledge of DOE, FCCN, and CACFP systems preferred
  • Experience supervising teams and managing operations
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace

Preferred:

  • Minimum 5 years of leadership or management experience in early childhood education, nonprofit organizations, or school systems
  • Experience working with NYC childcare or Pre-K provider networks
  • Familiarity with DOE regulations and compliance systems
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus

Pay: $90,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year
