Job Title: RN – Inpatient Pediatrics (Biobehavioral Health Unit)

Location: Syracuse, NY

Duration: 20 Weeks

Pay:

• Local Pay: $2042.74 Weekly
• Travel Pay: $2818.08 Weekly

Position Overview:

Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking RN – Inpatient Pediatrics for an exciting Travel or Local job in Syracuse, NY.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to pediatric patients in a biobehavioral health inpatient setting
• Perform nursing assessments and monitor patient conditions
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams
• Document patient care using electronic medical records
• Maintain patient safety and follow hospital protocols
• Support patients and families with education and care coordination
• Float to other pediatric units as required

Qualifications

• Current New York State RN Registration required
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 1.5–2 years of recent acute care experience required
• Behavioral health or pediatric experience preferred
• Trauma center experience preferred
• EPIC experience preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
