Line Cook
Ardesia, a Hell’s Kitchen wine bar with a small plates menu, is hiring a full time LINE/SALAD COOK to join our team. Our menu consists of creative small plates, as well as charcuterie, and an extensive cheese selection.
Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated, hardworking individual with kitchen experience. We have a solid and tight-knit kitchen team and we are seeking individuals with a positive outlook and team player mentality. You should be comfortable working with induction only cook-top. Candidates must have a proven ability to work in an organized and efficient manner and must have the ability to take direction and execute the menu in a timely and consistent manner. You must hold your DOH certification. Your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to: * Completing daily prep-work and execution of menu items on your station during regular service and for large parties.*During closing shifts you are also responsible for executing the full menu (not just the garde manger station) and properly closing down the kitchen
* Ensuring the organization of the walk-in and dry storage areas.
* Cleaning all produce as it arrives
* Working in a clean, organized manner within DOH standards at all times This is a part-time (4 shifts a week) PM position starting at $19-21/hour [based on experience]. Seeking candidates who can start immediately.
