Assembly/General Laborer

Sunday-Thursday 10:00pm-6:30am

Wage Range: $21 - $24 / hour (plus shift differential of 5%)

We are introducing several new product lines to North America as part of our global expansion, and are seeking several additions to our veteran team.

POSITION SUMMARY:

The assembler will be responsible for following the assembly schedule to ensure on-time delivery and to maximize efficiency and quality. This position will be responsible for the assembly process, which includes following all assembly instructions through to the final assembly and inspection of parts. Additionally, this position will utilize forklifts in the moving and placement of material throughout the facility. The operator will also be responsible for maintaining all safety, quality and housekeeping standards in the work area.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND REPONSIBILITIES:

1. Preparation of all assembly work including the greasing of all SICON parts and screws

2. Mounting parts

3. Full assemblies of final SICON parts

4. Full assembly of SICON kits

5. Moving assembly and testing equipment

6. Continual quality inspections

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:

1. Vocational training in the technical field, preferred but not required

2. Forklift experience for the loading/unloading of trucks and moving/storage of material.

3. Independence, sense of responsibility and initiative

4. Ability to work in a team and commitment

5. Attention to detail

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

1. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted.

2. Standing, bending, lifting and sitting throughout the day
