Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cytotechnologist to join our clinical laboratory team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for preparing and examining cellular specimens to assist in the early detection and diagnosis of diseases, particularly cancer. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in laboratory techniques, pathology, and patient care, ensuring accurate and timely results that support effective treatment planning.

Job Responsibilities:

• Prepare, stain, and examine cellular specimens using advanced cytological techniques to identify abnormal cells.
• Perform specimen collection and processing procedures with strict adherence to aseptic techniques and laboratory protocols.
• Analyze samples accurately, documenting findings meticulously for diagnostic purposes.
• Collaborate with pathologists and healthcare professionals to interpret cytology results and provide expert insights.

Requirements Required :

• Min 3 years of Cytotech experience required
• BLS Certification
• New York - ASCP
