Travel Nursing Job Details

• Estimated Weekly Salary: $2000-$2060
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Location: Rochester, NY (14626)
• Start Date: September 15, 2025
• End Date: December 15, 2025
• Healthcare Setting: Emergency Department (Combined Adult/Pediatric)
• Shifts: Day shifts, 3x12-hour (11:00 – 23:00 or 07:00 – 19:00)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Patient Ratios: 1:5, mixed/shared acuity levels
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
• Float: Required when census warrants
• Charting System: Epic (Epic experience required)
• Scrub Colors: Navy and white combinations

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active New York Registered Nurse license (required at submission)
• Minimum 1 year of recent Emergency Room RN experience
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS
• Epic charting experience
• Ability to float to other units as needed
• Must reside at least 75 miles from facility
• First-time travel nurses welcome

ER RN Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality clinical care to neonates, pediatrics, adults, and geriatric patients
• Interpret and manage dysrhythmias, multisystem organ dysfunction/failure, and CVA
• Administer emergency medications, blood products, IV vasopressors, and continuous IV sedation/paralytics
• Perform phlebotomy, start IVs, and manage central lines
• Apply isolation precautions and assist with procedural sedation
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams (IV, respiratory, PT, pharmacy, social services)
• Float to other hospital units as required
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation using Epic
