We are currently looking for an ambitious Head of Hematology to join our Specialty Lab Solutions – Hematology Department business within Diagnostics.
Key Responsibilities
§ Accountable for business strategy and delivery of revenue and profit targets via expert management of and partnership with key cross functional disciplines company wide
§ Expected to build, train, and develop a high performing team of marketers, skilled in core marketing competencies:
§ Analytics : Integrate and interpret complex market and financial data (e.g., NPV, revenue, market share) to drive strategic decision-making. Implement data-driven strategies that help forecast market trends, identify new opportunities, and enhance competitive advantages.
§ Customer/Stakeholder Insights : Leverage a deep knowledge of stakeholder needs, regional differences, and decision-making processes to identify market trends and unmet needs. Use these insights to influence internal and external stakeholders and drive results.
§ Brand Strategy: Develop and execute strategies that address shifts in the market and healthcare environment. Build and implement well-differentiated strategies with clear objectives, value proposition and execution plans in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
§ Pricing Strategy: Use your understanding of pricing frameworks and market dynamics to create profitable pricing strategies. Ensure that pricing decisions align with market realities, compliance standards, and long-term stakeholder needs.
§ Message delivery and deployment: Drive innovative messaging tactics across all channels, including digital media, ensuring effective communication of value propositions to both internal and external audiences.
§ Launch Excellence: Lead cross-functional teams to execute product launches, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of commercial offerings. Track post-launch performance with dashboards and measurement tools.
Experience and Professional Qualifications
§ University degree in natural science, medicine, economics or comparable.
§ Excellent marketing skillset – upstream and downstream.
§ Very broad and deep expertise and long-term experiences (>10 years) in the diagnostics/IVD market; experience in heading IVD labs is a plus.
§ Knowledge and experience in the Hematology market of advantage.
§ Strong track record in sustaining and maximizing revenue, achieving profitable growth, and expanding market share in competitive environments.
§ Very profound experience in leading cross-functional teams and the ability to influence absent authority, motivate, and drive accountability to achieve results.
§ Knowledge of driving digital transformation and identifying synergies across different franchises to enhance product portfolios.

§ Excellent communication and collaboration skills, capable of conveying complex information in a way that is suited to the target audience and situation.
§ Role model for executive-level leadership, setting a high standard for business decision-making and leadership behaviour.
§ Demonstrated strong business and financial acumen, managing operational performance metrics such as revenue, costs, contribution margin, gross profit, product positioning, and pricing strategies.
§ Strong strategic thinking, identify opportunities for growth, and develop long-term plans to achieve business objectives.

The base pay range for this position is:
Min $278,500 - Max $417,740Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
If this is a commission eligible position the commission eligibility will be in accordance with the terms of the Company's plan. Commissions are based on individual performance and/or company performance.
