Social media content creator

Job DescriptionOur client, a full service advertising agency, is looking for a Social Media Content Creator to join their team full time. This is a full time position, hybrid onsite in NYC (1-2days/week onsite).The ideal candidate will be a resourceful and creative designer with the ability to concept, develop, and produce social content across multiple platforms. In this role, you'll create up to 20 assets per week that align with client briefs, platform best practices, and production budgets, under the guidance of our Creative Director.Responsibilities:- Create social-first assets using a mix of AI tools (ChatGPT, Veo, ElevenLabs, Creatopy), stock resources, and original photography/video- Write and record AI-generated VO, caption copy, and titles- Edit, resize, and optimize assets for all platforms and placements- Collaborate with strategy, media, and account teams to ensure assets are on brief and properly trafficked- Apply in-market learnings to quickly adjust and improve creative- Participate in client meetings, briefings, and workshops- Support agency projects, new business, and internal creative needs- Join external production sessions (shoots, edits, VO, color, etc.) as neededRequirements:-Bachelor's degree in advertising, communications, journalism, or related field- 2+ years of experience (internships count); performance marketing, CPG, or pharma a plus- A strong creative portfolio with examples of short-form content- Proficiency with AI and design tools (InDesign, Photoshop, CapCut, Canva, MidJourney, Creatopy, ChatGPT)- Strong sense of design, typography, photography, and animation- Ability to take projects from concept to finished assets independently- Strong grasp of social platforms, influencer culture, and current trends- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple fast-turnaround projectsThis role offers tremendous potential for learning, growth and leadership.
