Gansevoort Meatpacking is seeking energetic, hospitality-driven Servers to join our Rooftop Bar & Lounge team. This is a fast-paced, high-volume environment, and we are looking for team members who are personable, polished, and committed to providing an exceptional guest experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide warm, attentive, and professional service to all guests
• Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently
• Maintain strong knowledge of menu items, cocktails, wine, and other beverage offerings
• Anticipate guest needs and respond promptly to requests
• Maintain clean, organized, and properly set tables and service areas
• Process guest checks and payments accurately
• Work closely with bartenders, runners, bussers, hosts, and management to ensure seamless service
• Follow all hotel, food safety, sanitation, and responsible alcohol service standards
• Assist with opening, closing, and side-work responsibilities
• Maintain a polished and professional appearance at all times

Qualifications

• Previous serving experience in a high-volume restaurant, rooftop, lounge, bar, or nightlife environment strongly preferred
• Excellent guest service and communication skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of cocktails, wine, spirits, and food service preferred
• Must be able to stand and move for extended periods and safely carry trays and service items

Schedule & Availability

Weekend availability is required. Candidates must have flexible availability and be able to work a variety of shifts based on business needs, including Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, evenings, nights, holidays, and special events .

Schedules will vary based on rooftop operations, weather, events, and business volume.
