Head JV Girls Tennis Coach

Rye Country Day School is seeking a Head JV Girls Tennis Coach beginning February 23, 2026 and running through the end of May 2026. Rye Country Day School is a coeducational, Prek-12, college preparatory school located in Westchester County, New York dedicated to providing students with an excellent education using both traditional and innovative approaches. Specific responsibilities of the position include:

• Effectively planning and organizing both practices and competition calendars
• Teaching and training a team of beginners through advanced level tennis athletes
• Creating an inclusive, exciting, and challenging environment each day
• Collaborating with the assistant coaches in planning and communication
• Maintaining a safe environment at all times
• Communicating with athletes, parents, coaches, and opponents in a professional manner
• Attend Spring Break Trips

 Desired qualifications:

• Minimum of 3-years successful high school tennis coaching
• A passion for athletic competition and the ability to motivate and inspire athletes
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Commitment to building a diverse, equitable and inclusive school community
• Energetic and enthusiastic, flexible and patient
