Technical Product Manager - Trading UI

Millennium is seeking an experienced technical Product Manager with a front-office background to drive the evolution of our internal trading tools.

As a Trading Tools Product Manager, you will act as the critical link between trading stakeholders and engineering teams. Partnering with our execution desk and portfolio managers, you will develop and execute a strategic product roadmap for front-end trading solutions. Your role will involve balancing immediate stakeholder needs with long-term objectives, synthesizing diverse goals into a cohesive plan that delivers incremental value while advancing toward the broader product vision.

You will collaborate closely with engineering leadership to ensure the products are architected to support both current functionality and future scalability. A strong understanding of front-office workflows and the technology that powers them will be essential to bridge the gap between technology and business. This role is pivotal in shaping Millennium’s trading tool strategy, enabling portfolio managers to achieve a seamless experience across the investment workflow.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop a product strategy for the equities trading tool UIs, including defining our next-gen trading UIs.
• Maintain a product roadmap that balances near term requirements and long term strategic goals.
• Manage the trading UI product backlog in close partnership with engineering and project management.
• Develop and maintain strong, trusting relationships with traders, portfolio managers and the COO teams across each line of business.
• Evangelize your product within the firm, ensuring all stakeholders are aware of new features.
• Translate business needs into clear, actionable product requirements with an emphasis on user experience and workflow.
• Juggle competing priorities across stakeholders and work with teams across Trading Technology to deliver new tools and features.
• Collaborate with product managers supporting other areas to enable a unified UI strategy focused on creating a familiar and seamless workflow across all of our internal stakeholders' trading tools 

Skills Required:

• 10+ years experience as a Product Manager working with trading technology UIs 
• Previous experience working as a trader (preferred) or having worked closely with traders and portfolio managers.
• Deep understanding of more than one asset class (Equities, Fixed Income, F&O, etc).
• Entrepreneurial mindset, able to operate autonomously and influence without direct authority.
• Comfortable navigating ambiguity and thriving in a lean, fast-paced environment.

The estimated base salary range for this position is $160,000 to $250,000, which is specific to New York and may change in the future. Millennium pays a total compensation package which includes a base salary, discretionary performance bonus, and a comprehensive benefits package. When finalizing an offer, we take into consideration an individual’s experience level and the qualifications they bring to the role to formulate a competitive total compensation package.
