The Position

Friedman Vartolo LLP is seeking an appearance attorney to cover a wide range of bankruptcy, foreclosure, and eviction related appearances. We're looking for bright, enthusiastic individuals, who will bring a strong work ethic and eagerness to grow alongside the firm. Willing to train the right individual.

Responsibilities

• Appear on a wide range of default services court appearances including bankruptcy, foreclosure, and eviction related matters
• Frequent client contact
• Management of numerous legal matters and assignments including but not limited to settlement negotiations and litigated matters

Qualifications

• Positive energy and confidence
• Superior public speaking skills
• Admission to New York, plus if you're admitted in NJ or PA
• Admission to or willingness to waive into corresponding district courts
• Positive energy and confidence

• Ability to identify and resolve legal issues quickly and proficiently

Location

This position is located in Garden City, but the firm offers a flexible hybrid schedule.
