Position Summary:
The Social Media Manager is responsible for managing and elevating La Belle Salon & Spa's online presence across all platforms. This role drives engagement, supports marketing campaigns, and ensures brand consistency while collaborating closely with the Project Manager and overseeing the Content Creator and Marketing/ Data Analyst / Researcher. All new hires, regardless of experience, receive training and have clear advancement opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, plan, and execute social media strategies across platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn).
- Oversee the creation and scheduling of content by the Content Creator and Marketing/Data
Analyst / Researcher.
- Collaborate with the Project Manager to align social media campaigns with overall marketing strategy and business goals.
- Track, analyze, and report on social media performance metrics to optimize engagement and growth.
- Maintain consistent brand voice, style, and messaging across all content.
- Edit and create photo/video content as needed to highlight salon services, events, and promotions.
- Stay up-to-date on social media trends, algorithms, and best practices within the beauty and lifestyle industries.
- Train, mentor, and provide guidance to team members on social media strategy and content execution.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in social media management preferred but not required.
- Strong understanding of current trends, platform algorithms, and audience engagement.
- Proficiency in content creation tools (e.g., Canva, CapCut, Adobe Suite).
- Excellent written, verbal, and visual communication skills.
- Creative, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities.
- Leadership skills to mentor team members effectively.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Starting pay: $15.50/hour (based on experience; training included).
